Default A little big rig eye candy

Mainly posting for Cray but thought some of you others might like seeing it. Customer from KY rolled in yesterday to get a wet kit installed. This truck looks new but it’s a 13 model. Immaculate condition.

It makes the truck able to operate a trailer that uses hydraulics. A PTO is installed on the transmission. Pump, hydraulic hoses, manifold for attaching the hoses from the trailer, etc....
Thanks Clint, Redge thanked you for this post

Glad for the answer, I thought it was a plastic bottle so no need to stop for bathroom breaks.

That’s a sweet rig. I spent most of my driving life in company frieghtliners watching trucks like that just ease by without working at it. Cost a couple of nickels more than what I drove too.

Thanks for posting that. Sure nuff looks new, you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his truck. Don’t envy you doing that job. Lots of Manuel labor in that. Hate fooling with those stiff hydraulic hoses. Probably running a 500 cat and 13 over in it.

    Slick truck!
    How come hydraulics?
I don’t know anything, I assumed most trucks like that had air brakes?
Educate me, I love to learn new stuff.

They do have air brakes. The hydraulics are to run things on the trailers. Some pull a dump trailer. The hydraulics raise the cylinder to dump the trailer. This one is going to be able to run a bulk feed trailer. Driver hauls cattle feed to a farm, and augers off feed into a storage bin.
