    Default Coin shortage?

Lots of places have signs indicating a coin shortage. They want you to use exact change or plastic. Funny thing is that 3 banks in my town don't know about a shortage. My OPINION is it is a tricky way to get us to stop passing things by hand due to covid 19. I would just like to be able to believe somebody, anybody, on anything about this covid crap.

I expect it would behoove you to continue to remain highly skeptical of anything anyone (especially guberment types) and/or the fake news media says about this virus.
I expect its going to go away or greatly exacerbate very soon after the November Presidential Election. I agree that it is a shame that everything these days is political.

Hey, no politics here! And no change either! Lol. Dono. But it makes sense not to pass change with germs on it in any case. I know too many at high risk. Cmon vaccine, git’r done.

I beat them all. I dig in my change jar every day and put change in my pocket, four quarters, five nickels, and 5 pennies. Yesterday at Lowes there was a sign at the cashier stating exact change only. Since it was my second stop I didn't have the exact change to cover so I gave her 5 dollars and told her to keep the 22 cents. She asked me if I wanted to donate it to the Red Cross. I said yes and she checked it off on her register.

Pay the dollar amount in cash and pay the change from your debit card. Easy peasy.

Cabela’s does this as well. Fine with me if more stores did, too.

No, there is no coin shortage. A neighbor, and a niece both work for different banks here, plus I asked at the credit union, and all have said there is no coin shortage. But all the stores still want to perpetuate the lie. Why can't they just be honest, and tell the truth. It's a conspiracy. Some are saying you cant use money at all.
