I have seen this many times before. Any and everyone can get a real quick grip of the enormity of personnel losses that it's taken to gain and keep the freedoms that so many take for granted
and remind all of us that FREEDOM ISN'T AND HASN'T EVER BEEN FREE. Thanks for posting this CP.

Tom, thanks for posting, it brought me to tears. I looked up to see how many with the same last name as I were on there, way to many to count. What really struck me hard was the fact that of the 40 or so names I looked up and then click on full profile highlighted, I saw that most of them were killed in action as soon as a couple of weeks and the longest time served by one soldier was 10 months. Most were gone by month 4 or 5. What a tragedy. It hurts so much to see that and to think I just missed going by the skin of my teeth. My wife and I had previously set the date of our wedding on Aug. 8. Uncle Sam was running out of single men and decided to draft anyone married or not after Sept. 1. This will haunt me for some time and I will be praying a lot for souls long gone. To you who made it through that nightmare, WELCOME HOME.
