    Default Crossword puzzles

I think we have talked about every subject known to man except this one. So I figure why not? You are working your daily puzzle and you encounter some clues that you not know the answer to. What do you do next? Of course I know what I do but just curious how others handle it. This assumes that you want to finish the puzzle.

I have a dictionary that is almost worn out which I would use back before Google. Don't do crossword puzzles anymore.

I was just curious as to how others handled it when they encountered an unknown. I've heard that if you look the answer up its cheating. That never made any sense to me. Who (or is it whom) or what are you cheating? At least if you look it up you may remember it the next time. Can you just imagine going thu life without knowing what a Roman road is.
