IVe been with Comcst for several years now and don't seem to get the service I need and deserve,,,Anything out there that won't make you go bankrupt? Paying almost $250 a month could go to some mighty fine fishing gears stead of making cable tv company's rich

Unlimited service on my phones, dropped satellite service about 5 months ago and never looked back. Television as they know it is dead.

Ever wonder why they are redoing all the old shows? Talks of Murphy Brown, Fraser, Cheers, and others coming back? Roseanne came back and ratings went up. The problem is that the generation familiar with those shows (like me) is the only ones with television now. They are losing every day.

Pay only for a basic cable package and get yourself a ROKU ($25.00). With that you can get most of the normal TV stuff, including tons of free movies and serials. And it offers an "ala cart" pay method if you want to include such things as NetFlix, HBO, etc.. However, with the ROKU, you have to have a Router so that you can get the signals from various satellites.

I ordered a new Dish HD antenna. They wanted me to take the old one down. I told em where to put the dish.

Dish installers can't climb. My old dish was on a our tv tower, about 25-30 ft up.

Dish contracted the install out. The contract installer placed the new antenna below the old antenna. I told the contract installer to take the old antenna down. He balked. I then told him to take the new one down and take it back to Dish with him.

Needless to say, I have a new antenna and the old one is gone.

Morale of the story: no short cuts in life and don't accept half ars work.

I dropped all the dish and cable long time ago.Got an antenna and get all the local channels free.
Netflix thru the dvd player and friend gave me a firestick.I jailbroke it and installed kodi and can stream tons of tv shows and movies free.
