In the long run its cheaper to buy
We have always bought vehicles, kept them for upwards of 6 or 7 years, traded in on something else.
Would you recommend to keep on, or lease?
My commute to
- work is 8 miles, round trip.
- closest lake - 9 miles round trip.
- Farthest lake - 60 miles round-trip.
Typically my vehicle is the one we take on vacation, once a year. And for day trips to relatives a couple of times a year.
As for the mileage limits, I should be fine.
Other considerations?
Drinkin coffee, missin fish.

I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Dave Ramsey hates leases. Therefore so do I . Dang , 8 mile round trip . You trading every 6 years ? Bet the dealers love ya !!! Maybe sell it to me at trade in value. Our newest vehicle is a 2002 .
I need to look up Dave Ramsey.
I've been blessed with my commutes to work, the majority have been less than 20 mile round-trip.
I didn't want to get rid of my last vehicle as quickly as I did. I didn't like it, from the first time I towed with it. Recently sold it. It sold quicker than we thought it would.

Definitely buy.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Yeah man . Dave teaches handling finances the way our grandmother did . He definitely has a gift for it . Sometimes when I need motivation I get one of his tapes out and watch it . It's a shame their not teaching this in schools .

Dave Ramsey's "get out of debt" message is very good, but his investment advice is not so good. If you want to learn investing, there are much better resources available.
