not being able to respond to p.m`s

Why is it when someone sends me a p.m. I cannot respond in the reply box I have to send them a totally new p.m. just to respond.. this is the message in the response box.

thanks that seems to of fixed that issue, now here's the other one when I'm typing to answer or start a thread for some reason it wont type in all the letters to a word the space bar will not work..if I don't look up when typing it looks like alien typed it.
Lets see if I can give you a example by typing thissenace.. see hat I men it just leaves suff out or pace ba doesn't wrk..
that's what my sentence looks like if I don't pay attention.. thanks for the help.
