did you clean the rabbit up and get the oil off of him ? lol......chapter two
I got a call from my wife this morning and she was all excited/scared. Seems there were some sort of footprints all over our 3 bay garage. She couldn't tell me what made them so I drove back to the house (my truck lives outside so I didn't go thru the garage this AM). I was worried that somebody had broken into the garage where my boat, tackle and electronics were parked.
When I got there, I found tracks all over the place that were OIL. The boat was fine. The mystery was who, where and why the tracks existed. I back-tracked them to a small catch pan against the wall by the boat that had a couple of quarts of use motor oil from when I changed my mower oil recently and failed to dispose of it. The tracks led under the boat, over our chest freezer, under the mower and pressure washer, then under my workbench. There were 2 suspects even though I could only identify one set of tracks as feline. I got a flashlight and looked under the workbench where I found a 1/2 grown rabbit still alive but in bad shape and completely covered in oil. Best I can tell the rabbit was either carried into the garage or chased thru the "kitty door" by our bobtailed tomcat. Still haven't seen the cat.
Now I get to spend a portion of my weekend cleaning up the oily mess that I should have disposed of earlier. You would think that after 58 years, I would have learned to stop putting off such menial tasks as disposing of a couple quarts of used motor oil.
Wish me luck. I don't want to get the pressure washer out and get water all over the garage. I figure some kitty litter followed by a good dose of Dawn in a spray bottle will do the trick.

I dont envy you your clean up project. Last time I had a mega mess the wife sprinkled tide laundry detergent all over it. Did a decent job of soaking up most of the oil and when I pressure washed after sweeping, floor was clean.
I am an expert of disaster.

After you soak up the oil, spray some brake cleaner on the concrete to get the stain out. Jus make sure you have ventilation... can't guarantee it will get all of it out but it worked for me without getting water everywhere when I spilled some oil.

One product I like for cleaning up all sorts of messes is Purple Power. It is non flamable and I have seen crud buildup on walls just run down the wall when you sprayed this stuff on it.
FISH ON
Purple power works great would use it after a crawfish season to clean my slicker took all the bait fish oils and grime off. The is also a citrus cleaner they sell at lowes can't remember the name but it works well also
