Vet do a you tube search for a video on changing a thermostat for your model. You should find the exact one of one similar. It's a very simple job, just make sure you clean the block of the old gasket and install a new one which should come with the thermostat. If it doesn't come with one be sure to get one.

What makes you think you have a thermostat problem? No water coming out the pee hole! The first thing I would check is the overboard tell tail hose, disconect it from the crowling and run a piece of wire up it to check it for obstruction, mud dobbers love to clog small holes. Hope this helps. If not and you need to go further follow that hose to the eng block and that should be the thermostat.

Not sure yet. I sucked up some mud and shell last weekend and the alarm sounded and the telltail was intermittently peeing but even when it did pee the alarm went off… so I will break it down…been wanting to change the impeller anyway and may change the thermostat also…
