The thing about looking in Petfinder for a Dog there are so many that need a Forever home, and what ever breed dog there is,, there are hundreds wanting to find a new home..Texas has more Breeders than you can shake a stick at and most Rescues require you live less than 100 miles. Louisiana almost never gets a Dachshund unless the owner goes into nursing care or Dies. Senior Dachshund Rescues Are mostly like HOSPICE FOR DACHSHUNDS with cost through the roof. I Believe in talking to the Creator from time to time --- I told him It might be, that it is not right for me to want another Dachshund -- But if there is one that is the right one, only He knows and I will except what it is...
When the Truck Driver put her in my hands, He said He had a Dachshund at home that would EAT HIM ALIVE IF HE CAME HOME WITH A DOG. All the Thousands of Dachshunds I had never saw any that even came close to the Little Girl he put in my Arms. Most of her Body is Coal Black but she has a Black Lightening bolt pattern that runs between every bone in her Spine. It Looks to me like the sign from the CREATOR
