Default FEB 25 --- there is a new girl in town

About 11 AM the phone rang and Delma answered Talked for a couple of minutes and handed me the Phone... on the other end was a Truck driver.... As he was passing through a small town in Arkansas he saw a small Dog that almost got hit by a Car... He stopped his Truck and picked her up -- then started asking several people and kept getting the same answer .. She had been running all over town for the past two weeks, nobody came looking for her -- She had survived that Killer Snow storm and no one had taken her in .... on the way down to Farmerville she had got sick and emptied her stomach on the Two hour ride.
He got on the phone and started calling all the Rescues and Shelters. One of them Gave Him our Name and number. This Sweet Girl was A Dachshund tipping the Scales at 15 Pounds and did not have a single Flea on her .. it was hard to believe that no one had came looking for her --- The Girl is Black and White and who ever had her probably saw a dead skunk on the road and thought it was her.
A lot of you know when Two of My Senior Doxies ages 15 and 17 died just over a year ago we have been trying to Adopt through the Shelters and Rescues and had our hopes up several times and approved but still without A new Adult Furbaby .. Dogs learn very fast from other Dogs in the Household and she was not sure about getting on the Bed or if it was Ok to sleep on the Bed.. When I was Confident she was adjusted and Happy ,, I sent a PM to Fishervet and made an appointment --- New Girl PART 2

Sweet! Things happen as they are supposed to.
    I like to believe anyways.
Don’t know that I’ve seen a black and white dachshund.
