Default The best decision I made all Week

I was in my stand as the Sun came up -- with the Crossbow ready-- sort of... The Quiver holding the Bolts was in the way it seemed every where a shot might have come from ... I had forgot it has that quick release, and it would come off. In the early light a Deer stepped and stayed there nibbling at the corn on the ground. It looked like a Doe at about 50 yards. then she went back in the brush from where she had entered the field.
About 10 Minutes later she had been watching the field from the thick brush, She came back out walking in my direction. She came closer then started crossing the little field, then stopped 25 yards broad Side... I could tell she was a little doe about One year old.. Young enough she could have had a Spotted Fawn stashed somewhere.. The First Deer that could go in the Freezer in Three Years walked slowly into the woods.
Then at 9 AM something moved in the same spot the Doe entered the field at first light.. I thought it could be a Coon. I had told Delma I would come back about 9 to 10.. I walked out in the field a little for a better look at the small Animal. There a Gray Fox was eating corn. As it ate it would look around some and back to eating . I waved goodbye to the Fox and went home. I had found the Scope was mounted too far forward.
In preparing to move the Scope back I found I had never tightened it on the Rail at all. When I got every thing moved and TIGHT ,, I shot the Field Point twice --Hitting about 5 inches too high. Requiring that Sighting in was Required -- Proving that I am a WHIMP

with years of being lazy -- I hurt from my Toenails to the top of my Bald head after getting the Torture device sighted again. The later it got the more I hurt { WHIMP } Then ordered a decocking Arrow and some Field Points with a rim that makes Bolt remover easier and a T handle that screws in the back with the Nock removed from the Target... After Making a Salad for supper even my Taste Buds hurt. God am I glad I did not shoot -- My Body woke me begging for 1/2 a pain pill { WHIMP ] When I woke up I said I think I will hire a Masseuse with a Mack Truck. Delma said I WANT THAT JOB --- you going hunting
