Bruce mine is a 2015..... 5.3 with the fuel management system and 6 speed automatic trans. On the road for a long trip I get anywhere from 24 to 29 mpg. Driving around locally 19 to 20. Pulling my boat 18. Pulling my 30 ft camper I get 16.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Yea, I'm sure the gas mileage got a lot better on them in the extra 10 years since mine was built. Mine is strict 8 cylinder!

No....i have 18 inch tires and wheel. Mine is a plain 4x4 not a z71. Gear ratio is high. 3.08 . I had doubts that it would pull a load with that high ratio....but the 6 speed trans made the difference and it pulls my camper good.
