Thank you Buster. Looks like your prayers are working. Yesterday and all day today the weathermen have been saying that I center would come just about over Houma. I kept watching the radars and told Linda that it would not and that it would head toward the east of us Even when the radars were showing the center heading toward Grand Isle and the River they kept saying it was turning towards us. Any blind fool could see that it wasn't turning and instead was heading for New Orleans. Oh, they finally woke up and agreed with me. I'm not a weatherman but I know what I see. and even these weather readers should be able to see it too. Well thank God it wasn't any worse than it is. Light rain and drizzle here most of the day with some clearing and almost sunshine. We have been on the west side and had north winds and now west winds which means are below of the center. We are not expecting much in he line of weather or rain tonight.

Last night I move Linda to a hotel so we could have peace from the rain and wind noise. She will be having surgery on her left rotator cuff on Tuesday and I figured she could use all the rest she could get. We will go home in the morning. Checking my home cameras all is well at the house.

Again, thanks for the thoughts and prayers,

Well it was a long day for us Yesterday but it went well. We got to the hospital at 7:30. Linda went in and I was forced to stay outside. Well I waited and waited and waited until finally at 11:00 they informed me that they had taken Linda into surgery. When the phone rang I figured they would be telling me that it was over. Again at a little after 12:00 the phone rang again and they told me she was in recovery then the Dr came on and told me it had gone according to plan and that it wasn't as bad as he thought. At 2:30 they call me and told me to drive to the front door to pick her up. We stopped to pickup some food on the way home and got home a little past 3:30. I got Linda confortable in her easy chair and I crashed for 3 hours. Sitting in the van for 7 hours plus is really tiring. We both slept in our easy chairs last night which is where she has to for a few days. I'm up early as usual. If all goes well in a couple of days after the pain block wears off then maybe I can get someone to sit with her for a couple of hours so that I can't finish breaking in my new motor to have it ready to go fishing when Linda is ready.

Thanks y'all so much for the prayers.
