    Default Pawpaw “gene’s” fishing machine.

Tomorrow I bring her in for a motor change. I’m going from a two stroke 50 to a four stroke 70, Yamaha of course. I’m hoping that peps her up a bit.

my 70hp 4 stroke yamaha sips gas on my 18 ft pontoon, 12 gallon of gas lasts me 4-5 trips unless I rip up and down lake pulling a tube for grand kids.. fishing it is very cheap to run.

Congratulations on the new motor. I'm confident you will enjoy your Yamaha four stroke and you will never look back. I have a Mercury Pro XS 115 four stroke... and I am truly amazed at (both) the power, fuel efficiency and the quietness.
Please remember to post pics and your complete review of the new motor and the differences when you get it all put together.

The only thing I miss about a two stroke motor is the smell when you crank them on a cold morning.
