Thread: Pet Adoptions

With everyone staying home -- Pet adoptions are at record levels. people WAY UP NORTH are scoping up big dogs like mad. With snow Two feet deep they do not really want small dogs .. My facebook page just showed every kennel cage empty in Monroe. We have been trying to adopt another Weinnie as we have just lost Two - ages 17 and 15. there are none available here in La, Several in west Texas --- To my Disapointment, if ye found one ,, Every Pet in the Home has to be Spayed or Nuitered. We Have a Galoot bird dog that is not fixed that is about 10 years old. We was wanting a Chocolate Brown Boy. Ted , that Tal has been taking care of is almost 15 years old - Blind, Diabetic and Glaucoma will not be with us forever .. he has Velcro stuck to me like glue. Weinnie dogs have more Love and as the pac leader , out of sight is not an option for them... Four of our Six dogs were Rescues but knowing we have room in our heart and home for another makes me sad that Rules of shelters pervent us having another Weinnie

Sorry to hear about your pets Larry but I am LOVING that the shelters are empty! That is AWESOME!
