    Default Crab Stew

That’s what’s for Dinner. This meal started Friday, Charline wanted fresh shrimp and I wanted crabs. So off we go towards Holly beach to the refuge to try to catch crabs nada nothing but little ones. We crossed the ferry in Cameron and jackpot a big sign Live Crabs, $48 later we are on our way to find fresh shrimp. First dock all they had was I Q F nope, a mile farther mixed shrimp the next stop a sign shrimp fresh off our boat. Yea they just unloaded from the night before beautiful 16/20 count shrimp, we jumped on it and the lady asked if we wanted the heads popped for free Yea Yea plus he through in the 11 #1 male crabs. That makes #50 of headless shrimp 1 short of 4 doz crabs time to head home. On our way home we waved at Shadow and passed to fast to get a picture of PPG boulevard then turned left at Lafayette waved to fisher vet and passed through Mo Slab’s back yard. What y’all having for dinner. Attachment 353015Attachment 353016Attachment 353017Name: IMG_0073.jpg

I could eat enough of that in one sitting that I wouldn't need anything else to eat for a couple of days. Man, that looks good.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

That'll eat right there. I'm sure it was well worth the extra effort it took to run down the key ingredients.
Thanks for sharing your awesome meal with the rest of us.

Sweet! I don't care for the QF shrimp either. How much per pound were the shrimp?
