Ever had a Dry tasteless meatloaf you wished you had not taken that slice . I have a couple of times ,,, Church Social, Family Reunion, or that told time Restaurant ... My wife's fav. is in this book , but I make it just a Little Dif. The Hamburger calls for 1 1/2 pounds . I start with 1 1/4 and 1/4 Lb Deer Bacon Burger , Everybody don't have the Bacon Burger.
FAVORITE MEAT LOAF
1 1/2 Pound Ground Beef [ Deer Bacon Burger ]
1/2 Cup Medium Cracker Crumbs.
[ 3/4 Cup Saltines - 10 Ritz crackers + or - ]
2 Large Eggs , Beaten
1 8-ounce Can Tomato Sauce
[ Tablespoon Barbecue sauce ]
1/4 cup Finely Chopped Onion
[ 1/2 Medium Onion + ]
2 Tablespoons Chopped Bell Pepper
[ 1 Extra Tablespoon + Green union tops if you have some ]
Dash of Dried Tyme
Dash of Marjoram
1 Teaspoon Salt [ a Little Black Pepper ]
Mix well and shape into Loaf Pan or 12" x 7 1/2" Baking Dish [ I use Loaf pan }
Decorate Top with Ketchup Bake at 350 Degrees for 1 Hour and 20 minutes
serves 6 to 8
Those little Extra Tweeks with the Deer Bacon Burger will make you try to overstuff yourself
