That looks just like the food that I grew up eating in Louisiana. Go figure. Yummy! All I can say is that we were raised right. I still eat the same thing today.
55 Years in South Louisiana but I ain't forgot my Mississippi raising.....cornbread, meatloaf, fried okra, glass of cold buttermilk, (ice tea would be OK also), forgot the onion slice and purple hull peas would take too long....

Just remembered. I had fried okra, corn bread and a hamburger steak for lunch yesterday. Real similar.
Now that's a good lookin' plate of soul food right there. I was hoping to make it a couple of more hours before I ate anything... but after seeing that plate I may very well have to bump mealtime up a just a bit.
I had a hankerin' for something very similar too about a week ago... but in addition to what you had on your plate... I wanted some mashed potatoes and gravy alongside a mixture of spicy steamed asparagus, okra and sweet vidalia onion with cornbread. Yummy!!! Thanks for sharing.
