There should be replay for the playsAND for the officiating especially when it affects the outcome of a SEASON. Time added to the game would not be much different because not all calls would need reviews. Only the most blatant of calls like yesterday.

That is 100% correct. In the instant case of the Saints game: Not only did the Rams defensive player commit blatant defensive pass interference... but he also violated the helmet to helmet contact rule of the NFL when he so blatantly blind sided the Saint's receiver. Either of these penalties would have awarded the Saints first down yardage, better field position and would have made it quite likely (way more likely than not) that the Saints could have/would have scored... putting the game out of reach of the Rams with only a field goal (ie. (only) three points).

Actually the commissioner has the sole authority to do just that but we all know that isn't going to happen!

It's time to get rid of king Roger and get a committee to run the program.

Actually, they did score 3 points after the missed call. If the call had been made, they would have gotten a first down. Then they could have snapped it 3 times and ate the clock down to 4 seconds since the Rams only had one time out left. Then the Saints would have attempted the field goal. If they made it then they would have kicked to the Rams, with 3 seconds left.Obvious squib so the clock would start. They also missed pass interference on the wobbly pass play. As Brees arm was hit , but not the ball, the pass wobbled but was not a free ball as it would have been had the ball been tipped. The Rams player knocked the Saint player from being able to make the catch. Then it luckily fell in the Ram's arms as he was on the ground. That was also pass interference against the Rams. That play was reviewable, but was not reviewed. On the first missed call, the Rams player said he hit the Saints player on purpose, after the game, because he had no chance for the ball and felt like a touchdown was prevented. He fully expected a flag to be thrown. As he said, it is what it is.
