    Default Lure getter tip

Well after going to Larto and breaking out my lure retriever a couple of times and trying to untangle the line on the retriever, I realized there has to be a better way! I took an old pool noodle that I had used for jug lines and did some modifications so it would hold the retriever. I cut a section out for the metal wire of the retriever, slid it down in there, wrapped the string around the noddle and cut an "X" on the opposite end and put the tag end of the line in there. It should Tal. Better than the string getting tangled in the bottom of the boat.

And I've also seen where some people even spooled a baitcast reel with the nylon rope and put it on a rod about a foot long.

At least with your way .... you shouldn't have to worry about it going overboard and sinking, lost forever to the depths. Good Job !! That's using your "noodle" !!
