    I haven't weighed it before but I know 25 pounds is roughly 3/4 of a five gallon bucket so I would guess roughly 35 pounds. I'll try to remember to weigh it next time.

    I wanted to know what size net??? I figured it was 3/8 mesh.. I have a 5 ft for Shad, I need to use it more

    I use a 7 foot 5/8 mesh. The 5/8 lets the smaller shrimp fall through.

    Dwayne, could you bring your cast net to D'Arbonne and give me and my brothers-in-law a lesson in how to use it? We tried it Saturday morning and succeeded in just looking foolish.
