    Default A tire looked Low

And it was --- Rated for 44 PSI and had 24 ... I got out the compressor and pushed the pressure up to 40. When I checked other side It was 10 PSI low as well.. HUMPHHH --- The two new tires I bought last month ,, Rated for 50 PSI both had only 32 PSI in them ---- now with the Truck inflated right I look at the Boat Trailer ---- said 60 PSI on the side and had 20 & 22.... I filled them to 50 as they are showing their age with cracking in the rubber... I was going fishing this morning but back pain kept me at home this morning .... It did not Occur to check the wife's SUV tires,,, I will save that for later... If you aint sure check it

If your trailer tires have small cracks....they are dry rotted. Best to replace them. Always replace trailer tires every 4 years no matter how good they look.

Thanks Vet --- The trailer tires will be replaced soon , the Truck will get Two more Michelin Tires first.... When I was at the Tire store in Ruston there was a container in their break room for Customers for collecting Can Pop tops. At one time I had been saving them for someone but they stopped 'messing' with them, but I kept them and stopped removing and saving the tabs. Those tabs are very important to many people. Each one gallon bag turned in A Cancer treatment is paid for by the company that recycles them for new tops on their product.. I took almost a whole gallon bag to the tire Dealer and they will go to the Quilting Club to help someone in Need...

I always heard..."it ain't the age, it's the miles".....guess that applies to tires also....

If the boat& trailer sit outside cover the tires because the sun kills the rubber. That is why you see the big motor homes in a camp-ground with white covers on the tires. Those things cost $400 - $500 a piece.
