Thread: Henderson Drawdown

Heard they were lowering Henderson again a couple months ago.
It's official, Wildlife & Fisheries put out a letter stating beginning Aug. 1, water will be released from south locks and closed Nov. 1 to refill.
Supposedly to reduce grass, salvania, hyacinth.

It is about 9.1' MSL now (Pelba gage).....they said going down to 6' MSL....at around 7' the public launch at I10 will be closed....private launches are available on the south end....remember, it was up to just over 18' MSL this year...at 6', the north and south flats will be exposed...running a boat at 6' could be very dangerous....you must know the area well to be on the water at that time....
