    Unhappy Tablerock Lake in MO.

We are all headed up there the 13th of July. We will be staying in a little town of Golden, MO. on the lake. Anyone have any info of fishing that lake, I have never fished just pulled my daughter on tube. Anyone have any pointers. I did post the same thing on the MO. site, had over a 100 looks but no response

I think that lake has clear water --- if so you will have to fish a little deeper ... In unknown waters high end electronics will help find fish, but fish like Smallmouth Bass and Saucer inhabit those waters as well as Crappie. Tackle shops can help also-- what areas of the lake are better for fishing and Topo maps ... Local Guides -- some of them will tell area, Depth, and best colors for those waters but many wont. A good Guide will try to help and a half day with him could be well spent

Speaking of topo Maps There was a way on Navonics of looking at the Contours for any lake on their List of lakes.. A fellow CDC member posted it on this Forum last year.. It helped me on our Local lake... Shinners this time of the year might be the best fish catchers

Beaubayou I went back to find the link and found what might interest you The Date 5/25/18 --- the post is titled D'Arbonne Hydrographic Maps Thread #17 ---- It has a map of the US you can zoom in on the area of interest then Copy the Lake to a SD Card to put into your Sonar unit ... This will put you where you want to fish good spots on Tablerock

Never fished tablerock but did kayak there one year. Very beautiful lake and very clear but I'm sure you already knew that. Sorry couldn't be of more help.

Fish on line, that Navonics did the trick. I found 2 spots with flooded timber right across the lake from where we are staying. Thanks for all the help.
