Hey, Jig Rig, someone stole mine a couple of months ago while I was fishing at Lake St. John. The lady at the OMV said the permanent plates are targeted the most. Plus, it is almost impossible for the police to catch them unless they just happen to pull them over for some other type of moving violation while they are pulling the trailer that they put them on. Cost me about $30.00 to replace my plate. Stinking thieves!

I have never put mine on the trailer in 8 years. It stays in the storage on tbe boat. Never had a problem with the law yet( knock on wood). I have had some perm plates stolen off of some utility trailers though.

Kinda funny. My permanent La tag is still on my trailer up here in Tennessee where a tag is not required. Guess I can take it off and send it to one of you if you need a new one. lol

I got up at 5 AM to go fishing --- Decided not to go this morning ,,, there were 5 big bags of Dog Food and Two Cases of Caned Dog food in plain sight in the Truck -- with all the Thefts here and the other States lately - I unloaded everything today for piece of mind. With Dixie in Heat the last couple of weeks we had all the Boys seperated and did not have a place for the food when it was Delivered.
