Default A trip to wally for the new License

the Machine for a new License was working to get the Geiszer $5 - hunt Fish combo.. There was another man getting some lights for some night fishing. I asked if he was going to fish the Bone --- He said no -- Claiborne , the bass were on fire after the Wildlife People had released Thirty thousand 6 inch bass that I can not remember the name... sounded like some kind of bird but not the Peacock... It has to be a Hybrid because I looked at dozens of kinds of Bass and did not see it

Lots of Hybrid do not Reproduce but will have a toll on the Bream population.. it might be the wildlife folks think there are too many shad --- Every where you look the Hatchery is releasing small Trout into small Lakes ... Guess they think the water does not get cold enough to reproduce---- Programs like this brought Asian Carp into Lakes that they thought would never flood and release them into the rivers... I am Just glad it was not our wildlife people that did it ---- But look at Fire Ants that came into New Orleans on a ship loaded with Lumber ... the Ship should have been put into Quarantine ,, pulled out to sea - sprayed and gassed until nothing could live. Nawww it was unloaded

I have been reading the Dept. of wildlife stocking program for Claiborne. The stripers have not been put in for over 15 years.. since then the Hybrid stripers have replaced them. Huge numbers of Catfish have been stocked and now discontinued when it was found that sulfides converted to Hydrogen sulfides in the lake. Blue and channel cat can not spawn fry as they all die --- Once those Catfish populations are gone there will be no more Channel cats in the lake.. I think someone fed that man a line - Miss information sho can travel fast these days

Same thing happened with formosan termites in New Orleans, a ship came into port infested with termites and wasn’t properly taken care of. I used to work pest control and have been in New Orleans during the spring time when the swarmers would come out at night....it was almost unfathomable the amount of termites flying around.
