Stormcloud ; I dont think those are Gnats,,,, Fruit Flies are more likely. when they get in the house the only way to get rid of them is a flame thrower

May be. Look like regular old dog gnats to me. Look to small for fruit flies. On the other hand I wouldn't know a fruit fly
    from a big foot.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

To get rid of those bugs in the house, take a jar with a metal lid and punch about a dozen holes in the lid. Remove the lid a put about 1 inch of apple cider vinegar then put the lid back on. Place the jar on counter top or place several anywhere in the house. They will crawl into the jar and can't get out so they will drown. Keep refreshing the vinegar until you catch no more.

Would not let me reply with quote Paw Paw Gene. I will try that today. Some else told me to put beer in a saucer. I don't have
a beer but I've got the cider vinegar. Can't see wasting a good cold beer on a bug anyway. Thanks.

WHAT?? You don't have a beer?? The beer in the saucer trick is for slugs on your carport or patio....so I've heard.

No gnats too. I will also make bull frogs easier to catch.

This year we are plagued with love bugs like I've never seen before! When I pick muscadines the bugs are all over them and swarming all around me. When I bring a bucket of berries back to the house I have to fill the bucket with water to float the bugs to the top so they can be poured off. Ready for this to end!

My son drove from OK a few days ago and ran into those bugs. This is the front of his truck after 12 minutes of driving through them. He had to pull over to clean the windshield.

They really stink when you mash them.
