Calling it good early today, it's been hot outside. Plan to watch Svengoolie once again this evening. Svengoolie hosts cheesy black and white horror movies from the 50's. On Saturday evenings on the antenna - MeTV. Tonight is the "Mole People". I flat tear up such things. Too much fun.

Kahlúa shrimp over angel hair pasta, followed with fresh blueberry pie this evening works nicely.

We watch Svengoolie all summer when we're in Montana (and it is definitely cheesy). We stay with the best mother-in-law in the world, and she only has an antenna. Blueberry pie is the best, next to Sneed's strawberry pie. I'd be trying that kahlua shrimp, but gout says no can do.

Ann's friend is sending her a signed photo she took while in the Gulf for my office. Cheri Lynn is her name. Flat out excellent as far as I'm concerned.

Smoked brisket and the remaining blueberry pie will work nicely this evening.

I'm full of fresh blueberries this past week. Will work on them again later. Meanwhile, a nice peach will work as a snack this afternoon:

Extremely juicy and fresh that was, really enjoyed it. I was going to bite into a fresh tomato afterwards, but don't want to ruin my dinner this evening. You folks that buy such things at Walmart haven't a clue. Ann is inside making me a fresh coconut cream pie this evening - my favorite. Coconut cream, not coconut meringue. Will follow nicely after dinner.

Svengoolie this evening is "Man Made Monster", 1941.

There are some fruits and vegetables i prefer to eat fresh - not cooked. Spinach for example, I only eat spinach fresh in a salad instead of lettuce any day. But cooked - no way, no how. Cooked spinach looks likes something the dog puked up in the yard.

X2! Like the raw spinach, the cooked is not for me.

I think Randy is pleased with his Father's Day gifts. Svengoolie T-shirt, bar of spearmint/peppermint soap from the farmer's market, and the print from Cheri that he already knew about. He's requested tacos with fresh pico de gallo to go along with yesterday's coconut cream pie for dinner this evening. Spoiled??? Name: IMG_5060size.jpg
