I went to the store yesterday to pick up a couple of things -- I decided to surprise the wife.. I got a package of Strawberries and Cool whip, the good stuff. I managed to cut them up and sprinkle some sugar on the berries and slip them in the Frig and She did not know... Tonight after supper the wife thought I went to the Kitchen to set up the Coffee Pot... when I came back with a Petrage Farm Apple turnover - Strawberries - whipped Cream Bowl she found room for every Bite, She loves Strawberries.

Just got back from eating at Pat's in Henderson. It was Short Line's birthday Friday and she said she wanted seafood, she had the shrimp dinner and I had the crab dinner. Talk about stuffed but it was soo goood we ate the whole thing. I told her about the meet and greet and the number of friends that attended, we need to do that again. Even saved the last 3 pieces of french bread to feed the alligators.

Took my drilling students to Parker Drilling 55B in Amelia last Friday afternoon. An excellent opportunity for them to see what I've been discussing. What's written in books, and what actually exists, are two different things. Most in an academic environment figure a rare opportunity in a Petroleum Engineering education - I do this regular in the off hours.

I took a Sunday drive, now I'm starting to sound like an old fogie. Any way I passed by some friends house on Spring Bayou to check out the Ark. Here is some pictures.

Only THREE axles? Are you sure that isn't a renovation of the Merrimac?
