    Default Bruce's Spaghetti Sauce....


    This batch should get me through Toledo Bend....

    8# of ground chuck.....(I had another 6# package)

    cook the ground meat down in a very small amount of oil....add salt & black pepper to taste....

    add 5# of frozen seasoning blend to the ground meat.....add one cup of water, cover and bring the mix back to a boil.....be careful not to overcook the veggies...you don't to wilt them...

    then add 3 cans of tomato sauce, 2 cans of diced tomatoes and one can of tomato paste.....let simmer and add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.....

    then you add garlic bread, your choice of beverage and enjoy.......I just did......

    freeze the rest in one quart freezer bags for later......some of this batch will make it to Toledo Bend.....

    That is Mrs. Rose (Deacon's mother in law). He told me that he would get the recipe for me last year but I still haven't got it! I will have to push him on that. He did say that she didn't mind giveing it out. I know he has been real busy this year.

    Thanks shadow!!!! I have Two Pecan trees that have been loaded, one has the small ones that are hard to pick out but make the perfect Pie. The big ones are easy and like the ones used in those Glazed treats

    Those dang glazed pecans were the bomb. I'd like that recipe too.
