    My personal preference is a 1.5" or 2.0" because I am doing "Catch -n- grease" not "Catch -n- release." I catch my dinner using those sizes.

    Yep i use 3 & 4 inchers. When they're on a tube bite on our local lake you can catch lots of 4lb. plus on them. I like throwing them in the thickest junk in pockets & in lay downs in spring when they're moving up to spawn. I like fishing them on moonlight nights in summer too because the big girls will smoke them.

    I’ll have to give that a try when the big girls come in here pretty quick in the next two months I enjoy making the tubes it’s not really hard to do.
