    Question Visiting the Sanford Area in NC this Christmas and want to fish while there


    Looking for a place to wet a line from the bank anywhere in the Sanford/Fayetteville area. Just wondering if there are any good crappie lakes/ponds/tailrace below dams or rivers worth bringing a rod along for a day on the water. I'm visiting my daughter and her husband they just had their first baby this week.

    Great article Buckeye, thanks again. Was TDY a bunch to Bragg, but never stationed there. My son-in-law is stationed there and we want to wet a line over the holidays.

    Mac, it was my pleasure to serve our nation and our Warfighters. I am now a Dept of Army Civilian still serving just in a different capacity here in Huntsville, AL at Redstone Arsenal and the Apache Project Office.

    From the bank you may have some luck in Robinson creek at Jordan Lake. Park at the boat ramp and walk down the creek toward the main lake.
