The southmont ramp on hwy 8 will put you in the middle of everything you’ll need to fish right now. I normally use the Buddle creek ramp which is a few miles further up Abbott’s creek (left from southmont). Fish the bridges and docks and you’ll have a good day!

Closer to Charlotte is the Wildlife ramp next to Tamarac marina. I don't normally fish that side of the lake, but I hear it's just as good.

Well done! Your results (numbers-wise) sound very much like what I've been having over the last many trips, although I am fishing deeper water.
It's definitely been a bit slower than I'm used to this time of year around here. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. Normally, the end of November through December is red hot. Although 50+ fish days are really good, it’s not what I’ve come to expect from High Rock and why I make the long trips there. I wonder if the removal of the limits has hurt the overall catch numbers? It’s definitely helped the quality. I still remember the days of catching 200 7” fish and ending the day with a dozen or so keepers.

Got out yesterday. On the water and fishing by daybreak, off around 11:00 A.M. with my fish, all between 10-12" with only a couple overs caught and thrown back.

Started on brush with very little action.....fish were there but very lethargic, definitely not in attack mode. Poked around a few docks and picked a few up. Finally set up in the mouth of a cove and found a good number of schools that were just cruising so I cruised with them. I didn't keep count of total catch but I'd say I was in that 50-60 fish caught range.

Always a bit of a head scratcher when you are confident in your starting spots and it doesn't pan out but it's fishin.
