    Does anyone know when the white bass run in Lake Waccamaw?

    Seems the major run is May into June.

    One thing I forgot to mention, pay very close attention to the wind forecast. That lake is open and shallow and can get very mean in a hurry. Too many folks have drown out there.

    I understand exactly what you are saying Jack. I have spent a few vacations on the Lake and had my boat sink twice. The old saying, You don't learn anything by the second kick of a mule. When I go again, and I will, my boat will be on the trailer at dark or before if the wind gets up. Thanks for your input...

    No, I never caught one. Been fishing the Waccamaw River all my life and caught every kind of fish in there at one time or another. Lake Waccamaw is the upper end of the Waccamaw River which joins the Intercoastal Waterway in Murrells Inlet along with the Little and Big Pee Dee Rivers.
