    I tried to fish new spots today...found plenty of crappie, but some spot the they were a lot of 10 inch fish, but it was still a good day,, put 75 in the boat, kept 33 good keepers... 10.5 to 14 inches....kept a few brim too.

    Glad you enjoy it and getting on some fish. I live 75yds from Mountain Creek (across the street from lake front) on Norman and will drive 1hr to HR or somewhere else

    Norman has always been feast or famine for me. I've never been able to consistently catch them there. You're THE MAN!!

    Are you familiar with crappie fishing in SW NC?? I live in Murphy during the summer and am surrounded by water, but I've never tried for crappie there.
