    Default High Rock Friday afternoon

I haven't been fishing much mostly since the bite got slow and fish got smaller. I decided to set up for trolling and went Friday afternoon. Caught several but most were on the small side. Did catch theseName: IMG_20220916_175447384.jpg

Always fun to catch doubles. Any fish better then no fish. Thanks for sharing

Glad you made a trip out to the rock. I been thinking about what's happening up there. I hope to get set in on my buck the first week of gun season and then I can go fishing this fall more than I have in the past years. I got the post you made for the camera on the corn pile maybe I'll get some good photos. Those crappies aren't that small if you hungry!
    Good report buddy!

Nice to see you found a few. I haven't been on the water in over three months. Been working on a garage addition that my son wants to use like an apartment for a while. Just replaced both trolling batteries this week and ready to go for the fall bite. Thought about hitting the rock Sunday. Trying to decide if I will try crankbaits or pull jigs. Let you know if I go and how I do.

The rock let me down Sunday. Wife and I trolled crankbaits in second creek and on main lake for about 3 hours and didnt get a single bite. I dont think I have ever fished the rock without a single bite. Got windy about 11 or so so we called it quits since we were doing so good.

Glad to know there are still some in there. lol. I started to pull jigs instead of crankbaits. Almost too late for the cranks but it was suppose to be windy Sunday and it is easier with cranks in the wind. Glad you found them and good luck on the tourny.

I will concur/attest that the cranking bite is virtually done but it was good and steady while it lasted. My fishing partner (9YO daughter) and I have now switched over to single-poling/vertical jigging with similar results as Treed.

Is it the fall feedbag coming on? Who knows, but I like it.
