YRT did it for grins supposedly.
Was told they just wanted to mix it up, make it more interesting and keep people from piling on top of one another in the areas fished above Leonard’s. I’ve heard people at tournaments complain about it being too dangerous to go up there and they won’t fish up there no matter what’s being caught.
Whatever the reason, it is what it is. We all fish the same rules so at least there’s that. It’s a fun tourney, so I’ll be there regardless.

Crappie Wall Hanger II
Two boats in Mil Rock got stuck. Up to their waste in mud trying to get out. Other boaters helping but none of them fishing. Not a good day when boat is stuck or damaged. Let’s go with it this time and see how it goes. Plenty of great fish south of Leonard’s. I believe Mil Rock was won south of Leonard’s.
