Waiting on paving contractor-- I'm told the end of Nov !!

Here's what it looked like 10 days ago...last time I checked.



Evidently, the paving contractor has no love in his heart for fishing or those who partake of the pursuit.

I'll be taking names if I find out who is supposed to be doing the job.

I called the NCWRC and they told me the expected completion date was no 12/14/22. Crazy that it has just been waiting to be paved for this long.

Checked yesterday-- paving is complete - parking spaces are not painted the gate was still there but it was open signs were still on the gate. Talked to a wildlife guy last week and he said if you used it before the signs came down you could be charged with tresspassing.

It's open !! Water is almost 4 feet low a lot of stuff just underwater go slow and be careful

Anyone fish Wautauga in December?……With success?……😁
