    Default Mapping Chip

Anyone have any experience with the humminbird mapping chip? I am looking at them and the navonics chip. Humminbird also has a smart map app, where you can buy individual maps. Looking for a recommendation.

I got mine @ BBG Marine listed in the personal classifieds. Mine are humminbird regional cards.

Check the bodies of water you fish and make sure they are on the Humminbird list. I prefer Humminbird maps for one key reason--they mark the creek/river channels with a pinkish line. There are times I need to fish in the channel and it is easy with Humminbird.

Agreed, I checked for lakes and then purchased accordingly
