Pitching and shooting. When you reel, make sure it’s sloooooooowly!
The bite has been light in most cases, so if it feels “different” set the hook. I swear sometimes I can feel them breathe on the jig…

Very funny how light they've been biting. Week of Thanksgiving I fished Badin Wed/Thur/Sat and Wednesday they thumped. Thursday they just held it lightly but still caught a pile. Saturday, same thing until the sun got up and got them active. It's like theyre hungry, but not hitting hard.

Caught some yesterday including a 1.85, 1.94, 2.07, 2.31 that were in 13fow and about 6-8ft down. If you want eater sized fish, mouth of crane creek right where it bends back around to the right, a few hundred yards inside the shoal at the mouth, was loaded with eater sized 10-12" fish. Water temps anywhere from 46-51F
