Default Black Friday at High Rock

Instead of joining the crowds for deals, a friend and I headed for HR. It was incredibly windy so that narrowed our options for areas to try. After a few stops we realized the only two realistic ways to fish were long lining and dock shooting with the latter being a good choice. The lake is 4-5 ft low so deep docks were key. The water temp was 50 at noon.
When we got home we had 52 solid eaters in the livewell and we put 25-30? back including some over a pound. His family will now have a few good crappie dinners and I enjoyed the fellowship.
Get on the water…. They’re definitely biting!

Did the stripers cooperate? It looked like a bunch of folks were after them.
