    With the risk of ridicule for ignorance I still must ask this question. Why are the 2 fish in the cooler cut up like they are? They look like cats to me but I have never seen them sliced in that manner.

    They are cats. I had dressed them before I forgot to take a pic. Know yall like pics. lol. If they are thick, I cut them across like that to help them fry up better. they get crispy in between the pieces as well as on the top. My dad use to do this with bass all the time. I do it with any bigger thick fish I am going to fry.
