To fish Yadkin River or Central Carolina Crappie, in traditional sonar, I'll need to either remove the livescope transducer OR the head unit (1022 in my case).

Am I reading it right that even if I take off the 1022GPSMap Display AND the transducer, I'll still have to fish Live division in this tourny because technically, my console unit (Echomap 73SV) is Livescope compatible, even though the way I'll have everything set up, I can remove the display, the transducer, and the black box power unit?

Just trying to make sure I understand that way if I'm able to fish that weekend, I'm not removing all that for naught.

    Thanks, Justin
The way I see it is there are a lot of live compatible units but as long as you don’t have transducer or black box and have a regular transducer you can fish the non live seems

Correct. You can have a live sonar compatible unit but not the components that make the live sonar active.

Had fun! Caught a lot of fish. Just not the right fish. Thanks for a fun tournament and the volunteers and sponsors that made it possible.
