Yes the entry fee went from $50 to $70 but we added $2,200 in prize money. Live Division and Non Live Division pays the same. We want to be fair to ALL participants. We don't want to hear "so and so" is gonna win so I'm not fishing. A Live Sonar check will be made at sign in. ANY Live Sonar Component on your boat puts you in Live Division. This tournament is for the most advanced to the beginner.

Dumb question. Im currently installing a 1022GPSMAP/Livescope on the bow. That's the only unit up there. I also have a Garmin Echomap 73SV UHD on the console with a GT54UHDTM (traditional sonar with CV/SV). To fish Yadkin River or Central Carolina Crappie, in traditional sonar, I'll need to either remove the livescope transducer OR the head unit (1022 in my case).

Am I reading it right that even if I take off the 1022GPSMap Display AND the transducer, I'll still have to fish Live division in this tourny because technically, my console unit (Echomap 73SV) is Livescope compatible, even though the way I'll have everything set up, I can remove the display, the transducer, and the black box power unit?

Just trying to make sure I understand that way if I'm able to fish that weekend, I'm not removing all that for naught.

    Thanks, Justin

The male/female and parent/child bonus is not in both divisions. There will be just one male/female winner and just one parent/child winner. Thanks for the question.

So, The male/female and parent/child entrants using traditional methods (not Livescope) will be competing against male/female and parent/child entrants using "livescope"???

We can’t have two separate tournaments altogether. We have tried to even it up as much as possible. In the past we have had only a few entrants in those divisions some years no entrants in male/female. The extra $2,200 to fund 1-5 in the non live came out of my pocket. Most tournaments do 100% payback only for the non live. The winner at Jordan non live won $300. Let’s not get in the weeds about this live non live thing in this tournament. This is a fund raiser and a “fun” raiser. I think every male/female winner and parent/child winner in the past have given the money back to the church anyway.
