Try flats just off the spawning areas. I think most fish have spawned, but there should be fish in 10' or less. I'd guess if you go back in Beaver Creek you'll see where others are fishing.
Took my neighbor there today, 8 inch crappie caught like 8 of them. Live bait, tried 64 bridge ebenezer bridge. Taking my dad tomorrow all day, any help would be appreciated. He only gets down there once vfc a year since oms failing health. Thanks !

We went bass fishing on Jordan a couple of times over the last ten days or so and saw plenty of crappies (still) in the skinny water... and as a matter of fact; we actually caught several nice slabs on small spinnerbaits and shallow running square-bill crankbaits... so I certainly don't believe the crappies have all left the shallow water by any means. As a matter of fact: We also saw several other boats crappie fishing (ten or more) (catching fish) in very similar water, using jigs and minnows.
Welcome to the NC Board and Good luck to you. I hope you can get on 'em.
