    Default Colors

Looking for some different colors to go to right now. Any pattern of jig or soft plastic would help. I’m in western NC. What colors are they busting on?

Two that are always good for me on Tillery or high rock are orange and Pink with yellow tail. I also love the arkie little minnow curly tails in the white and yellow and grey and silver.

Pink Pearl and Green/licorice has been best on Norman. A few on Monkey milk and a couple in chartreuse.

Find the right depth and color won't matter that much. A great crappie master I know well uses nothing but black and chartreuse. Fishing right next to him, I was using blue and white. Thats about as different as you can get. And both of us were catching fish in good numbers. But we were both at the same depth.

John deer green on an orange head
Blue/chartreuse tail on a pink head
Black/chartreuse tail on an orange head

If I’m trolling my 8 poles at least half of them will be John deer green
