OK boys and girls after all that we been through lets try to get back to normal. April 24 on Lake Wylie we will host the 2021 version of Spring-Fest. Don.t know what this virus crap gonna cause before then but we got to get back to normal sometime. As of right now we going to fish as normal. We hope a lot of younger folks will come out to fish with us. Kids up to and including 12 years old will have a contest of their own. Many more details to come soon. But the kids are the future of this sport. We will be launching from Ebenezer Park again. Times will be posted shortly. Again we will have an on site lunch prepared for all that attend. Probably burgers and dogs. This is just to get you to start thinking of fishing with a group of Crappie.Com folks. The ones you see on here but never meet. This is a no charge outing but will have a donation jar set up if ya want to donate. Have lot of good prizes already and more coming in. So mark your calendars and come out to visit . As said lot more details coming real soon. We always have a good time. All CDC members , family , and friends are welcome. So keep checking here for details and get ready to go fishing ! Gettin close. Fishing has been up and down last few days. If no drastic weather change I think we should have a great day. Remember your PFD for everyone on your boat. Have proper state license for where you fish. Anyone want to bring a dessert is welcome to bring whatever you want. Bring your own drinks cause we can’t have every kind. If you don’t want to sit at tables with others bring your chairs. Plenty of room for everyone. Our list is looking great. Haven’t added up this week but I think we close to 40-45 folks. But we got room for more. Just add your name and how many ya got. Would like to get everyone signed in and on the water by 7:30. Would like to meet with captains about 6:45 for any questions and answers. Let’s get out and show em what CDC is about. We get a new member or two after these outings. Let’s make it more this year. Here we go again. Rain in the forecast for Saturday. Three weeks and none but let the Dawgg off the leash and it shows up. But it has been discussed and was decided WE GONNA GO FISHIN ! The money is already spent for the shed ,the food , the prizes and whatever else. We dont get a refund so we gonna go. Last year was a pretty wet day but loads of fish were caught. So get your rain gear out and and umbrellas or bimini tops or whatever you got and come on. It will be Saturday so it is time for a bath anyway. I Have driven all the way to Georgia before in monsoon conditions. Caught fish. Dont let a little water hold ya back. Come on. Fish dont mind gettin wet !
