    Default Badin

Dad and I went for a little bit this wonderful afternoon. Found a few good keepers in 19 fow. Fishing around 17-18’ deep. Caught a few on a black and chartreuse jig tipped with minnow. Most caught most with jig head with no skirt tipped with minnow. Fished about two hours and ended up with 10 keepers for the grease. I was spider rigging trolling slower than normal, around .3 mph. No pics today since I put fish on ice in hopes to go again tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully a few more and some pics tomorrow.

How is the water clarity? Never fished Badin so unsure of how the rains affect it. Weather looks nice for Saturday.

We went Wednesday afternoon as well. Fished for a little over 3 hours with the kids. Tightlining minnows on jig heads 20-26' deep. We got a dozen good bites, but we were struggling to hang them. 4 keepers and 2 shorts.

Water was slightly muddy, but fishable. Surface temp was 46-48 degrees, with a pretty good SW breeze that laid down before dark.
