Seen the water in really bad shape several times, I'm going to drive out and take a look hopefully this afternoon.

In the fall I went out before dawn one day, motored up slowly to the bridge and could barely perceive some large object under the bridge, assumed it was a boat. When the sun came up turns out there were several extremely large chunks of grass/earth that had broken away and floated to the bridge and got stuck. Water was so muddy I could almost stand on it. Didn't catch anything that day.

Word of advice . don't go to Harris next Sat 27th. We've had a tournament scheduled (bass) and now .
Piedmont bass classic tournament has been moved to Harris , plus another tournament has been move to Harris all on the 27th. We'll have about 25 boats, PBC will have about 100 boats, the other I'm not sure.

Jordan is over 229 now and still rising. Once the Cape Fear gets back in it's banks, they will start drawing Jordan down. It will probably be another 10 days before the lake will be accessable.

Wow. Thankful the Yadkin chain never gets like that. We have to deal with the mud constantly but not water over the docks. There would be a lot of houses under water at that level.

That's one of the reasons there are no houses on Jordan.Normal pool about 15,000ac. Flood pool, about 24,000ac.
